1. Who we are
Mission Relearn ("we", "us", "our") provides the Mission Relearn Academy learning and community platform. We act as the data controllerfor personal data we collect through the Service.

2. Personal data we collect
- Account data: name, email address, password (hashed), profile information you provide.
- Learning data: courses you enrolled in, progress, submissions, and chat interactions with our AI assistant.
- Support communications: messages you send us.
- Usage and device data: pages viewed, actions taken, IP address, browser, device identifiers, log timestamps.
- Order data: limited information about purchases (which product, when). Card details are processed by Paddle and never stored by us.
3. Why we use your data and legal basis
- Provide the Service (account creation, course access, AI features) — performance of contract.
- Customer support — performance of contract / legitimate interest.
- Security and fraud prevention — legitimate interest and legal obligation.
- Product improvement and analytics — legitimate interest, in aggregated form where possible.
- Marketing emails — only with your consent; you can unsubscribe at any time.
- Compliance — legal obligation (e.g. tax, accounting).
4. Who we share data with
- Service providers / sub-processors: hosting, database, email delivery, analytics, AI model providers — under contractual confidentiality.
- Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record, for payment processing, subscription management, tax compliance, and invoicing.
- Professional advisers (legal, accounting), where necessary.
- Authorities, where required by law.
We do not sell your personal data.
5. International transfers
Some of our providers are located outside the EEA/UK. Where data is transferred, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions.
6. Retention
We keep account data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards. Order and invoicing data is retained for the periods required by tax law (typically 7 years). Logs and analytics data are retained for shorter periods. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR and similar laws you have the right to:
- access your personal data and request a copy;
- request correction or deletion;
- restrict or object to certain processing;
- request data portability;
- withdraw consent at any time (without affecting prior processing);
- lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority — in the Netherlands the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

8. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit, access controls, and regular reviews. No system is 100% secure; please notify us immediately if you suspect any account compromise.
9. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you logged in and to operate the Service. We may use limited analytics cookies to understand usage. You can manage cookies in your browser settings.
10. Changes
We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent version.
